While buying an air mattress make sure you buy the right one which would last for many years. Quite often there are many people who come up with a problem of air leaks in their air mattresses.

While sitting or sleeping on the mattress make sure you do not have any hard objects, which would create a hole in the mattress. If you feel that the air is leaking in the mattress then make sure that you check the point of the leaking air area and then try to stop it. There are two easy methods, which can be used to check the air leaking area of the mattress:

1) Check for the area where the air is leaking and then spray soap water mixture, if the air is leaking then the soap water would create bubbles.

2) Inflate the mattress and then put some baby powder on the mattress, if the air is leaking from a particular area it will blow the powder and you can easily find the air leaking spot and take necessary action.

If the air is leaking from the seam then duct tape can be used and if it is from the valve area then it is better to buy a new mattress.
