Social workers also help abandoned children, senior citizens and sick people. They help people affected with AIDS, dementia, cancer and other chronic diseases. Drug addicts, alcoholics and people with mental illnesses are also taken care off and training and social rehabilitation services are provided. Individual and group therapy is provided daily. The main aim of this service is to make the person get back to the society as a normal person. Social work is a very demanding job but rewarding too if not financially, mentally.
