In a water pillow, the water within quickly conforms to retain proper head and neck support while moving. The pillow's shaping properties are enhanced by the fact that the pillow is unlikely to bunch, shift, or have hollow places.

Drawbacks

As the pillows are filled with water, they can weigh a lot. If filled completely, they can weigh at least 15 pounds. So shifting them along with the bed can be tough and can be harmful for people having poor back.

Another drawback is that the water within the pillow can create sound when you place your head on it if the air is not fully removed from the bladder.
