Does apple cider vinegar work for Weightloss

The apple cider vinegar diet was at its peak in the 1970’s when dieting was a fad. It was mentioned that the diet was passed on from the Egyptians who used it to maintain their weight. The fad had disappeared for quite sometime but has returned now in the form of capsules as well.

Though there are claims that consuming apple cider vinegar works in weight loss, there is no scientific evidence to back these claims. The manufacturers of the vinegar ask people to take a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar before meals. You should increase the intake to two or three spoons over a period of time. They claim that this would result in your eating less and burning more calories.

Nowadays, there are claims that apple cider vinegar is helpful in removing acne, that it relieves arthritic pain and lessens cholesterol levels etc. These claims have not been proved scientifically yet.

The best way to reduce weight is by doing exercises 30 minutes a day, at least 4 days a week. This will ensure that you are burning calories and you will not put on weight. Remember there is no substitute for hard work. Have trust in the saying, “No pain, No gain” and do some physical exercises. It will help you in the long run. As regards apple cider vinegar, we can say that consuming an apple would be more beneficial.
