Does frequent shaving of scalp hairs 4 to 5 TIMES IN A YEAR affects hair growth
It is a myth that frequent shaving of the scalp hair will enhance hair growth.
There has been no indication that frequent shaving helps hair growth. Several studies have been conducted in this regard and the results have been negative.
For hair growth you need to take proper care of your hair. Most males, start losing their hair on the sides of the head. This condition is known as male pattern baldness. Hair loss or baldness is caused mainly due to the lack of Vitamin B supplements. Vitamin B5 contains pantothenic acid and B3 (niacin that is vital for hair growth). B6 is equally important to the body, as it contains the nutrients of zinc, sulfur, magnesium and biotin. The body also requires Vitamin A. Fatty acids such as primrose oil, flaxseed oil or salmon oil need to be consumed for
enhancing hair growth.
You can also massage your hair slowly. A thorough massage is necessary to improve the blood circulation in the scalp. By massaging the scalp the hair follicles are stimulated and the texture of the hair is also enhanced. Wash your hair at least twice a week. Eat healthy food, drink lots of water as water nourishes the skin and a nourished scalp means healthy hair.
