Dog Commands For Pet Owners

Dog commands are an important part of owning a pet. They simplify the life of dog and its master. They are generally brief, precise words asking the dog to carry out one activity to prevent puzzling the dog. A command is any word of your choice provided it is connected with particular request whenever it is given.

History

Dog commands have been an essential aspect of dealing between man and dog interactions for ages. Men have used dogs for actions starting from tending cattle to looking after families, with each having its own collection of commands. Today dogs have become more of playmates, and so the commands have become more of playtime ones. However the result is the same.

Working

Dog commands make the dog carry out certain commands. They assist the dog and show him the way, preventing trouble and chaos. These commands can be used at any place at any time and can be given whenever required. E.g. the "sit" command should be used to make the dog sit. On hearing he command, the dog should sit. These commands restrain the dog and carry out the required task. Commands are important tool that every dog master must learn and utilize.

Wrong notions

People generally have wrong ideas about dog commands. Commands are requests that require the dog to carry out a task. A dog does not have inherent knowledge about commands, as lot of people say. It must be taught to answer the commands. You need not shout them out so that your dog understands them. They give better response to calm, peaceful requests than to vociferous, noisy commands.

Paybacks

Teaching a dog to answer the commands properly is very useful. A dog that does the task that it is asked to do is far better buddy than the one who disobeys her master. Commands make the dog the importance of respect and discipline, letting him become a better buddy and get social acceptability.
