Feet Care
First and foremost, it is essential to wear shoes that don’t pinch. You can change your shoes at work, so keep an extra pair at your work place. Change your footwear before you leave, and if possible, go bare feet also sometimes.
If dry skin on your feet is the only thing that bothers you, take a weekly
footbath
,or even 2-3 times a week.
File the hard skin on your feet and then place them in lukewarm water to get the most out of your pedicure. Obtain a bath salt or a germicidal cure from your pedicurist and dissolve the same in water. Germicidal herbs have potent action against cracked heels, nail fungus (candida), restless feet and legs.
Make sure the skin of your feet softens by keeping them in the footbath for atleast 15 minutes.
For people whose feet are still hard and dry, file them softly. Its advisable to file your feet more often, provided you aren’t rough to them.
With the help of a soft towel, dry your feet.
End the pedicure with a good massage, or better, exchange a foot massage with your partner. Make sure you apply a good amount of lotion, and let it absorb completely. This will increase the blood circulation of your feet.
See a pedicurist without fail, in case you are suffering from other serious problems such as ingrown toe nails etc.
