How To Cure Back Acne
A common problem faced by teenagers is acne. Sometimes, it disappears once you have crossed puberty. But many a times, it can go into adulthood and become an embarrassing problem. When the hair follicles and the skin get blocked due to excess secretion of sebum by the skin, the dead cells are trapped within the skin. Along with the excess sebum, these dead cells become infected with bacteria, causing
acne.
Face and back are two of the most common areas affected by acne. Though the treatment for both the areas is same, back becomes more difficult area to treat as you cannot see the acne on your back. Besides, it is more difficult to touch this area, which has to bear your body weight while sleeping. All these factors can aggravate the problem. But here we offer some simple solutions to take care of the problem.
Dress up in loose fitting clothes as tighter ones will irritate the infected skin, leading to spurt in acne. Clean your body, especially back thoroughly to prevent dust and sweat from causing more damage. Use a soap containing salicylic acid. Washing your bed sheet regularly will remove the bacteria present on the surface and causing skin infection.
Consult the doctor if you see a large growth of acne on the back and follow his instructions thoroughly. Treating acne will take considerable amount of time, but meanwhile avoid touching or squeezing the acne. This will worsen the infection and can cause acne in other parts of the body.
Eat a healthy diet with plenty of vitamins and minerals, but with low amount of fat and sugar. This will avoid formation of extra oil on the kin and thus reducing the chances of formation of more acne. Keep your skin well hydrated to flush out the toxins from the body. Go to bed at regular time to give your body a chance to recuperate.
Following these tips in general will prevent and cure acne.
