How To Pierce Ears Without Pain
Earring is one item of jewelry flaunted by both men and women. They get various portions of their ears pierced. However the elementary procedure of piercing remains nearly the same. While piercing is regarded as a professional skill, it is possible to pierce the lobe at home. Here is how to go about piercing your ears at home.
Ear Piercing At Home
Soak a cotton ball in cold water. Keep it on the part of the ear that you want to pierce for around 30-40 seconds. This will stun the part and thus minimize the painful feeling.
First clean your earring, followed by your ear, by using some drops of rubbing alcohol.
Keep a little potato slice or a washcloth at the back of your ear. It will prevent the tearing of your skin after the needle is pushed. Always use sterilized, unused and clean needle.
Place the needle in a bent position. Next, twist it a bit inside the ear to dig a hole.
Clean the blood drops oozing from your ear lobe, by using a cotton ball.
Remove the needle once a sufficiently big hole has been produced.
This completes the ear piercing procedure. Now insert the earring in the hole gently.
Tips
Wash the piercing needle properly, with rubbing alcohol, prior to using it. Take care to sterilize it properly.
Keep something available, to wash the blood oozing from your ear, after piercing.
If piercing has damaged your ear, wash it by using a salt water solution. Repeat it everyday till it is completely cured. Avoid using rubbing alcohol for this goal.
Avoid using a piercing gun, if you are doing the procedure by yourself.
Avoid turning the piercing needle, after it is dug into the ear lobe. It can rip the skin apart, leading to severe injury.
