How to Remove Tattoo
Tattoo
has become a fashion symbol amongst the youth. But once you get a tattoo done, clearing it is a painful process. But the modern technologies have devised various processes of clearing the tattoo. Two of the common methods used to remove the tattoo are the same ones used for removing unwanted hair. These methods are:
1)
Laser technology
2)
Light-based technology
These methods use light energy to destroy the ink used in tattoo. The light penetrates the ink, causing the ink to shatter. This ink is then filtered out of your body.
The therapist holds a wand of light against the area from where the tattoo has to be cleared. The rays of light are directed toward the tattoo.
You might get the feeling of an elastic band being pulled against your skin, when the light rays are projected against the tattoo. If the tattoo is big and is located close to bones or joints, you might experience more pain. The pain can also be very intense if the area to be treated is hairy.
To reduce the discomfort due to pain, the therapist may apply a cooling gel to the area from where the tattoo is to be erased, before starting the treatment. This gel assists in proper conduction of light and cools the area treated.
