Malta – Every Tourists Dream Destination

The islands of Malta are quite unique in their location. Placed in the Mediterranean, in between the countries of Sicily and Libya, these archipelagos have been a constant attraction for the imperialistic powers. This has not only made a contribution in its archaeological heritage but also had an influence in its culture and language.

Like many other islands, which are known as tourist spots, Malta also has its share of beaches made of silvery sand and with the sky blue water. And with the temperature of the sea water comfortably above the 20 degree Celsius mark during the months of June to October, there’s no reason why you should not take a swim in the sea here. You can spot many of the locals having a great time by themselves basking in the sun. You will be surprised by the ease with which they swim to the deeper parts of the sea.

Coming to the sight seeing aspect of your vacation, it must start with the capital of Malta, Valletta. With a lot of sights worth capturing, you will not find your day going waste while you see the capital city. Next stop should be a village located on top of a hill known as Mdina. A beauty in itself, it will keep you spellbound for the whole duration of your trip. Moving on, you must ensure that you get a view of the various archaeological sights and if you are quite interested, hire a guide who will probably be able to explain the information regarding each and every site before you hit the beaches for your dip in the warm water. The beauty of this place is that most of the important places worth sight seeing are at one day distance from the capital at max. Gozo, for example, is a nice and quiet island which you may want to visit.

With lodging being quite easily available, and by the fact that most of the Maltese speak  English, it’s no surprise that anyone’s stay at Malta will be as close to a vacation as it gets.
