Memory Foam Mattresses for people suffering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
 
 

For many years, people who have complained about chronic fatigue were labeled as lazy or hypochondriacs. But now, chronic fatigue syndrome or CFS is getting its due attention nowadays, partly due to the new research being carried out about its causes and treatments. Now research reveals that the CFS sufferers share certain physical conditions, especially with regards to the blood supply to the brain. This has made people reveal that CFS is real and curable.

The chronic fatigue syndrome sufferers have one or more of the following symptoms: forever lacking in energy, non-refreshing sleep, sore throat, tender lymph nodes, achy joints, problems in concentration and short-term memory, and malaise after exertion. After diagnosis, many people can recover in a short time but for others it can last lifelong.

Some simple steps to help tide over CFS are: using modern bedding materials like memory foam and altering the eating patterns close to sleeping time. Eating a controlled diet and following a structured exercise regimen have been shown to alleviate the symptoms of CFS. But always consult your doctor before attempting to start any treatment.

CFS is accompanied by insomnia and non-refreshing sleep. Nobody knows the reason behind insomnia, but a part of the cause could be due to soreness of muscle and joint.
