Boston Terrier:
The Boston Terrier is an American breed of dog. They are smart and affable dogs. One of the main qualities that makes it the favorite of many people is their joyful nature, and its little size, right for compact spaces and flats. Also, the Boston terrier dogs are very clean, due to their short hair and its size, thus very easy to care. Their lifespan is around 12 years.
The Chihuahua:
The Chihuahua are reputed for their loyalty and personality. His smartness and size allows them to adapt to various types of environments, like the city and small departments, and generally live for at least 15 years. Though normally regarded as weak and fragile, correct training and socialization can lead to a wonderful pet. However they are not right for young children due to their size and physical delicateness. Many Chihuahua show their devotion to a person by excessive jealousy of the owner’s relations with others. But this can be taken care of by socialization. The Chihuahua by nature love living in a clan, often enjoying the company of other Chihuahua or other dogs. Also Chihuahua don’t understand size and can fight bigger animals, causing damage and injuries.
The Pekingese:
This dog has very distinct temperament. Sovereign, obstinate, very angry and follow fixed routines. It doesn’t like empty blandishments. He is not very open to plenty of touches and cannot deal with children very nicely. Another feature of this breed is that, they do not like being tied, if not done right from the time of their birth, as they don’t like restricting their movements or their freedom. Any full display of warmth will be responded by attacks of fury, including biting and growling. Enjoys being the center of attention, wants to participate in all family actions, right from a stroll down to meals
Pug:
Nice homely pet. Its size and shape are excellent for life in an apartment or house. It is very warm towards his owner, really enjoys playing. Some experts advise it just for adults, while others say it is right for children, not babies, due to his playful nature. The hair care is negligible It does not need plenty of exercise, but always open to go walking with his owner. They snore while sleeping, which may be their drawback.
Bichon Frise:
The Bichon Frise is a family dog, can take to any environment, but requires exercise. He enjoys home life, quiet and peaceful. Its characteristics are obedience, good humor and joy. Though his physical maturity starts right from his first year, but is still childish even till 3 years. He does not have any character problem, eats well and can be easily educated. It is a healthy race, immune to diseases and innately smooth. He doesn't want big trips, only exercise and games. Protect it against eye injuries, teeth and hair coat. His lifespan is about 17 years.
Jack Russell Terrier:
The Jack Russel Terrier is a very fast dog, despite his small size is very strong and has high endurance, alert, obstinate and independent, and is a great companion dog. You can train them for various types of activities, particularly while using their natural capacity to jump, hunt prey and dig deep searching for it. As they can be used nicely as actors, they have earned popular sympathy as their charisma is unmatchable. But remember they are highly active dogs and need open spaces for exercise, they require a training constant, persistent and patient letting them increase their intelligence. They are not suitable for sedentary people, first-time owners or very small kids.
Yorkshire Terrier:
The Yorkshire Terrier is a little, neat looking animal, with lovely, long hair The soft silky coat of this dog is accessorized with a plenty of silky hair, framing the face beautifully. Keen, energetic, and smart, it is a highly enthusiastic breed and is warm and loyal, although at times these dogs can be very demanding. The Yorkshire Terrier can be touchy and snappy when nervous or angry. Gets on nicely with older children, but can be hostile with other pets and strangers. This breed is not normally appropriate for younger children, who are boisterous and trouble the dog. These dogs have lots of distinct characters, and can give plenty of love and affection to their owners.
