Tai Chi
Established on the concepts of the Chinese art of practicing Medicine,
Tai Chi
is an art, which must be practiced in order to remain healthy. Chi, which is a person’s inner energy, is present from the time of his birth till his death. This energy is an essential factor in determining your health status during your lifetime. Many people from the western part of the world have also taken up this form of art in order to enhance their lifestyles and have a healthier life.
Tai Chi
directs its movements at the growth of one’s internal energy and effectively enhances his health. If done regularly and correctly over a period of time, there will be remarkable difference in the person’s health. For example, due to the daily stress in one’s life, a person begins to lose his good-natured ness and becomes quite aggressive.
Tai Chi
aims at relaxing people’s mind so that the person can tackle situations with much more calmness.
Another false belief that we harbor is the way we breathe. Most of us believe that if we take a deep breath and retract our chest upwards, we are inspiring maximally and the higher volume of air in the lungs is good. Contrary to our beliefs, when we perform such breathing actions, only the upper part of our lungs inflate due to which impurities begin to accumulate in the lower part of the lungs and can be harmful to our health. For the same, it is advised to breathe such that our abdomens move inwards and outwards which will facilitate the lower parts of the lung to be involved as well. A perfect example is to observe a baby. Its abdomen always moves in and out while it’s breathing. The increased amount of breathing will freshen up your mind and increase your efficiency.
Tai Chi
deals with many of the common ailments of the modern world. The basic concept is to develop one’s inner energy after which, one can combat diseases such as asthma, circulatory problems, and conditions affecting the joints, sleep disorders, thyroid malfunctioning and many others.
