For those wishing to visit India, here’s a small tip. Don’t be surprised if you extend your trip by a huge margin. India is rightly called a place where there is Unity in Diversity. Here, many cultures co-exist in peace and harmony. To see the entire India, it could take weeks, maybe months. To provide the unaware an example, India has many languages and innumerable dialects for every language. Up north, Ladakh is described as a cold desert situated at a very high altitude. With a diverse wild life and an equally varied plant species, it is a beautiful place to visit. The people are warm and friendly, hospitable to visitors.
Coming down, Garhwal and Kumaon are areas in Uttar Pradesh. Sacred temple of Badrinath and Kedarnath are situated here. Many devotees come during favorable season to visit these temples. The route to Mansarovar Lake in Tibet passes through this region. With the Himalayan range in the back drop and a host of wildlife, the beauty of this area is accentuated to many folds.
And that’s not all. Agra has one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal. Delhi, the capital of India, is a busy centre of all types of activity. Khajuraho has temples with exceptional sculpture works while Rajasthan is a world of its own. With many forts and palaces to adorn its towns and cities, it speaks volumes about its exquisite history.
