It includes dancing, food, and shooting exhibitions. You have to dress up like a cowboy to gel with the crowd.
Each year, on President’s Day weekend in Cody, the Water Fall Ice Festival takes place. There are innumerable frozen waterfalls in The Valley every year, making it a dream destination for ice climbers. The mountaintops in the area are more than 11,400 feet tall and vertical starts forming right from October onwards. The waterfalls do not melt entirely till April-end. Most of the waterfalls have been located and marked WI3-7 climbs. This signifies the ultimate climbing for ice climbers. It makes a great spectator event, provided you have no problem with the very cold temperatures. The CAM-PLEX Heritage Center in Gillette, is an art center. There are many live performances, visual arts, conventions, lectures and receptions held here, each month. The month of February sees many performances taking place here. It also has a 1400-foot square foot Art Gallery that conducts many monthly exhibitions.
Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is popular for its winters, though going through Teton Pass can be dangerous. The mountain has the longest continuous drop of 4,139 feet in the US. Cross-country skiing takes place in Grand Teton National Park that is close by and you can go on tours in the park, provided by the resort. Since the temperatures in Wyoming are freezing during winter, it is important to carry suitable clothing. Wyoming offers a wide range of options starting from small town events to white slopes in February, making it an attractive tourist destination.
